William Kauffman was born and raised in Humboldt County. Living between the beautiful redwoods and the vast ocean speaks to his creativity and has given him a sense of calm and has led to him choosing to stay and raise his family there. He has been formally trained in a variety of mixed media such as metalwork, fiberglass, and painting, however they have all consistently led him back to the specialty of woodworking.  To him, there is a spirit within wood that can not be found within any other medium. He specializes in custom wood art and design and looks forward to helping you see your ideas come to life through working with you on custom projects.
